Cleaning up pet urine, in between regular professional carpet cleaning appts.

First dab the area with a clean dry, white cloth.
Then pour water on the area, and soak up with
another clean dry white cloth.

Never use soapy products like Resolve.

  1. some dyes can be pulled from the cloth and cause you to dye your carpet.

  2. You can use white or apple cider vinegar and baking soda to neutralize odors as well. :) Good advice.

We use water soak it up, then spray with vinegar. When the vinegar dries we use a scrub brush to fluff the carpet and then sprinkle with baking soda and vacuum.

    1. I agree with Mia, it's beneficial to neutralize the alkali that the urine contains. I use a Prochem carpet cleaning odour neutralizer.
